This Blog has been a Wordless Wednesday marathon during the past two months….and not much else
. I’m so pleased I’m back….phew!
My human has been very distracted so I have had to wait patiently for a return to her main duties as my personal photographer and blog-keeper.
It is autumn already, which means ‘camouflage season’ for me!
The changing leaf colours are camouflaging me nicely. I’m nearly invisible in the forest now..heehee!
My camouflage has been very handy when trying not to disturb the new heathland horses during their dinner time.
This camouflage season is cool eh?
Errr….doesn’t work all the time though…gulp!
Doesn’t work with my human either…humpf!
OOOOoooo…so much going on here! I look forward to catching up with my recent tales in the coming posts!
Now for a little note about the last Wordless Wednesday embarrassing video of me having to do weird things like walk around a chair for a yummy treat with music playing?!:
Whenever my human puts on some music at home, she dances around for a few mad moments (bit like the ‘zoomies’). I normally tolerate and ignore these behaviours. However, recently, she is trying to include me in this strange jigging ritual….arghhh!
Although I don’t quite understand , I have discovered it is in my best interest to humour her since there are some super yummy treats up for grabs!
Thank you for your comments and messages on the last Wordless Wednesday video but I don’t think we should encourage my human too much on this activity…eek!
You look gorgeous in the fall colours. Love that you think music makes your Mom have the “zoomies” – too funny 😀
What a natural groover Zola! You’re human doesn’t even have to say anything..we’ve never seen a Ridgeback dance with their human before. Fab!
Zola, where are you? I can’t see you!
We loved your fancy dancing. You have talent, my four legged pal!
Wyatt
Zola, you are almost totally camo! Our fureinds Hank and Sue who are also ridgebacks really are almost invisible in our southern California scrub during walks. When they see us, they hunker down like we are lions and then ZOOM over to greet us. It’s great fun!! You’re a wonderful dancer, by the way!
-Bart and Ruby
Wow Zola, I had no idea you lived in such a beautiful place. That is the best picture of you and the horses in that beautiful fall weather and girl, You Can Dance……We loved the post.
Bert and My Vickie
Thanks for your message Bert & his Vickie…that means a lot coming from such a superstar doggie like you Bert! Ridgeback-Rufs to you from across the pond..Zola
Ah…reminds me of my Obedience School days. What fun! Doing things for treats! YIPPEEEEE! You’re a great dancer!
Arooo, Stuart

Sorry forgot to say.. it pays back making them happy as long as they do not ask too much too often!!!
