Rain, Rain Go Away…

Rain, rain go away…Come back another day.

Since I arrived in England, it has rained and rained.

My window cloud art whilst watching the rain.

We tried to go for a walk on the heathland and there was a lot of sludgy mud to plough through.  Disappointed smile Eeek!

My muddy paws.

My muddy behind.

My human’s muddy paws.

Luckily, deep in the nearby forests, the big trees turn into giant umbrellas. We can still hear the rain but we stay dry. Winking smile

Green dry underworld of the forest.

I hope the sun will come out soon…

  1. Trees do an amazing job of keeping dry whatever (or whoever) is under them. Zola & Vikki, you’re not in Provence anymore! Hope you’re having fun all the same, although cleaning up is a bit more difficult.

  2. Homer says:

    Oh my princess Zola!

The weather sucks, isn’t it. I hope it gets better.

Yeah, Darwin the dane has contacted us. I’m sure we will meet up in the near future. 🙂

I hope you have settled down in England. Oh yes, my Missus loves the 5th photo!

    Love,
    Homer

  3. Zola it seems like all the rain in the world is welcoming you to England. I am a wimp in the rain too and I will avoid it like crazy. My owner still makes me walk around in it though so I like it best with a jacket on. Sometimes when she is being nice we play hide and seek with my favorite toy inside and that always wears me out.

Glad to hear you made it safely to England.

    Wags,

    Maxine

  4. Nora says:

We’ll trade you our sun for some of your rain. K?

    Nora

  5. Beaudor & Baron says:

    Poor Zola,
You have to talk to your Human, and come back ;))

    xxx Beaudor

  6. bigdogzola says:

Hi Beaudor! Thank you for your message. We are having a holiday in Provence and Riviera at the end of August/September..I would love to see you and meet your young brother Baron..although I might be a bit bossy to Baron since he is still a puppy-punk! We need some sun here…brrrrrrrr 😦 I am hoping to meet Pencil Vic soon to pick up my picture!! xx

  7. bigdogzola says:

    Yes please xxxxxxx

  8. Lucille says:

Yes, I can see you miss sunny Provence…
I fell in love with it too…
    Ciao Lucille

  9. Poor thing. Not quite the same as the Riviera. I saw the puddles on the news too with some sad muddy Olympians tramping around lol.

  10. Paws To Talk says:

We love the paws shots! Sorry it is so rainy there. Could you ship some of that rain here to the East Coast of America where we are having another heat wave?

    Bella and DiDi

  11. Finn says:

I love your muddy paws! Hope you get some sun too!

  12. We are sick of the rain too. It must be an awful shock for you though.
    Welcome to England.
I can only apologise on behalf of the British weather.

    Love and licks, Winnie

  13. bigdogzola says:

Hello Winnie..I was thinking of you the other day..I wanted to say how right you were a few weeks ago when you warned us about the bonkers rain! However, as long as I am in the exciting forests, I don’t mind. I normally shudder at the thought of going for a walk in the rain..euwww! My human was worried that I wouldn’t want to go out at all. A breakthrough! Maybe every cloud does have a silver lining! Vikki has bought some wellies and very noisy waterproofs which is no good for me because all the squirrels can hear her coming…humpf!
    Thank you for your message..Zola

It would be nice to hear from you...leave a reply
