Back in France

We’re back in France!

We have arrived back in France after a super holiday visiting my human Grandparents in England.

It was a ‘Zola -Paradise’ holiday with many long runs in the vast green forests around Hindhead and a few days exploring the soft, sandy, wide beaches of Norfolk.

Ooooo bliss!

I will miss my human Grandparents, since they are very kind and give me lots of yummy treats when my human isn’t looking (heehee). Winking smile

I will also miss roaming around in their lovely garden, especially since I hid three dried pigs ears in the rose beds (full of rich soil with horse manure for that perfect stinky marinade – mmmmm – a true delicacy).  I never got a chance to unearth them before I left..humpf! Sad smile

Can’t wait to go back and find them next time.

Once back in France, it was straight to the beach to meet up with a few of my chums.  We were all happy to see each other.

Hi guys! I’m back! Party smile

Parallel beach runs with Ezey.

Bumper runs between Whippet Bimbo and Guiness.

Luckily, the beaches are still wild with dry seaweed mountain moguls to jump around on.

It is still very quiet, so doggies can continue happy beach activities until the Easter holidays begin.

It will start to get very hot soon, so us local doggies and our humans will be geting up a lot  earlier Sleepy smile (before most non-doggie humans) in order to enjoy a little bit of time on the beach before the sun rises to start cooking everything.

Making the most of spring time fun-runs with my friends.

It was nice to be back and I wore my French flag collar to celebrate my return!

The weather has definitely got hotter since I have been away.

Time for a sit down to enjoy the views…

Glad you had an awesome vacation and reunion with our friends. I wish my mom would take me to France so I could run on the beach with you!

    Dearest Zola,
oh what a lovely holiday! Grandparents can be quite spoiling can’t they – wonderful creatures!
We think its very special that you get to go to another country. Because of quarantine here in Australia, travelling overseas is highly unlikely for us aussie doggies.
I think your holiday style is like Delta’s. She is one to go on high-speed, high-energy adventure holidays. I’m much more of a sleep in and sun-bathe kind of guy.
Your poodle and Lab friends look like lots of fun. Are they your Grandparent’s doggies, or friends that you made on holiday?

    your pals,
    Digby and Delta

    oh hang – on!
Now we have relised our mistake! They are your french doggie pals 😀
We were thinking they looked familiar! hehehe.

It would be nice to hear from you...leave a reply
