“A Sunday well-spent brings a week of content”
Anonymous.
A few Sundays ago, I spent the afternoon with my favourite mini dog friends; Mr Muggles, Boboune and Robert Antoine (in a French accent it sounds like ‘Raubear Antu-one’!).
Me and the Shorties
I call them the Shorties, since I always feel such a big, tall girl when I’m with them.
They normally look up at me like this!
They don’t quite understand the concept of being a Shortie. Actually, they are in complete denial and consider themselves far bigger and cooler than most other dogs…apart from when they are with me that is! 🙂
Their human believes that I have good ‘zen’ energy and a calming effect on them due to their unusually amazing politeness and peace vibes towards each other when I’m around!
I met them last year on a ‘Parlour Games’ evening for doggies! Click here to have a look!
Our Sunday afternoon of activities involved exploring the wonderful garden, enjoying lots of yummy treats and lounging around together.
Ready to go off sniffing a garden full of super smells?
Later on in the day, we each found a comfortable spot to relax and doze off to the drone of my human chatterbox. I always go on an extra super long walk, run and play before a sunday afternoon visiting friends. That way Vikki can relax knowing I’ve already had a good exercise and we can stay well into the evening. Us Ridgebacks love a good run and workout every day..it’s a big part of our lives…and Sunday mornings are super special for me if we have afternoon plans to go out visiting friends until late.
I’ll have this end of the sofa..nice pillow…I love my pillow….ZZzzzz
‘Raubear’ likes his quiet chair in the corner…ZZzzzz..burp..
It’s a special siesta chair made just for Shorties…it looks sooo comfy!
‘Raubear Antu-one’ relaxing by the fire ZZzzzzzz…
After wonderful snorey-snoozes together it was wake-up time.
Home-time for some proper sleepsies!
The Shorties were very polite and came with us to the door to say their goodbyes…
What a fun Sunday! And we like your new header picture!

That´s a good sunday. With master Yoda 🙂
Ha! That pink armchair looked huge until the final photos which put it in all in perspective. Alice in Wonderland for dogs.
Glad you stopped by for a visit, I had somehow completely forgotten about your blog. I used to enjoy it so much! I think perhaps I never became a follower, and that is how it slipped off my radar. Will have to correct that! Well, it looks like you guys had a fun Sunday, and everybody tuckered out. 🙂
