Sometimes we get up very early and go down to the beach for sunrise.
It’s a bit too early for most of my doggie friends, although I do look out for them. However, once a week, I know I’m going to meet my early riser young girlfriend Ezie.
Morning Ezie!
Ezie has a real passion for water, so we find a nice wet chewy stick for her to salvage.
Then we have a good chew on each end…
Later, I spot in the distance what looks like a white moving cloud on the beach…
It’s Poodle Cleo!
Cleo is totally unaware that we are on the beach!
Even as a young-pup, whenever I saw Cleo arriving on the beach, I would lay down camouflaged on the seaweed until the grand opportune moment to launch a surprise sprint towards her!
Ezie loves a bit of mischief, so I thought I would introduce her to my fun prank ‘Mission Surprise Cleo’! It works almost everytime, unless my human gives the game away by calling out my name..humpf! 😦

Thanks Zhivago – My girlfriend Poodle Cleo is a good sport and tolerates my sense of humour! Actually she was born in Norway and goes back every summer for a holiday – she loves the Norwegian forests in the summer…maybe you will see her playing in the forests next year and you can play the same trick!!
