Paws Up for New Year 2011

Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right!

Wishing you all a super year ahead full of adventures, good luck and happiness with lots of yummy treats…

2011 New Year’s morning..wow! I was such a lucky girl.  I met up with girlfriends Poodle –  Clio and Jura de Bruno hound – Sunny.

We had a lovely morning on the beach whilst our humans chatted away:
2010 New Year’s morning I was on the same beach as a lucky puppy.  Well actually, by then I was an 8 month old Junior dog who was growing up and learning fast.
(Vikki kept calling me a puppy though…grrr!)

I was the only dog on the beach that morning:

January is going by so quickly.

The start of the year is quite a hectic month for Vikki since it is the time when lots of humans decide to get fit by exercising and dancing around to music.  Or they want to learn about yoga and pilates as part of their New Year’s resolution.

It’s Vikki’s job to show them how… so she is busy!

Vikki thinks I am a natural yoga girl:

I like stretching…sometimes not always at the best of times!

Once we are back home from the daytime activities, the human-pups (little people)  come round to learn how to play the piano (that’s Vikki’s thing too!).                                                ‘A piano course to bring out the music in every child’…er..well sometimes these little Mozarts can make some dreadful noises!

Especially when I am trying to have a zola-power- nap…good grief!

How is a girl supposed to get her beauty sleep?

Luckily Vikki is as happy as I am when it comes to ‘us-time’ and every day she makes sure we are out doing something fun together with some learning time or meeting up with some dog friends for a play.  We have also been going out with Hannah (my dog class teacher) and her dog/ my pal Baloo for nice long forest walks with some super-dog skills practise and clicker training.
All this means that we haven’t really had time to catch up with my Blog..humpf!  In fact, any opportunity to write a post has been overuled by the idea of a sofa-snooze.

Peace at last…ZZZZzzzzz:

I did see Vikki sitting down to organise her diary for next month since her New Year’s resolution is to ‘manage her time better’ (whatever that means?).   I’m pretty sure it has something to do with planning time to do the things that brings us lots of happiness, enjoyment and my cookie treats!

So that must mean, most definitely, Vikki will be writing more blog posts for me.. right?

Hi Joep – maybe I’ll meet you on the beach in Holland! Yes the shows do take time but I don’t mind, Vikki gives me the most delicious sausage treats! I have won four trophies!..and I have ‘excellent’ on my reports and confirmation – so that means I get lots of sausages that day – yum yum yum. We don’t do that many shows but sometimes its a good teamwork practise and a weekend adventure away. xx

Hello Zola! It’s nice to meet you. I see you have met some of my friends too (Dennis and Lucille). There are lots of big, little, and inbetween size doggies that blog. So feel free to snoop around other bloggies to see who is out there. I knows that Twinkie has very good ridgeback friends that she and her sisters visit. You should go meet Twinkie, she is the tiniest dog in the world.
