Welcome to my Dog Blog ! 

Well…enough courage was found to start my Dog Blog today!  

Most of us Rhodesian Ridgebacks are somewhat reserved about such personal exposure, we prefer our ‘spirit of adventure’ to be shared privately with our humans!  If anything, we are known for being quite ‘aloof’ with people and things we don’t know (sorry – can’t help it!) but thats only because we don’t like revealing too much about ourselves too soon!      

We may have kept ‘lions at bay’ once upon a time and still boldly bound to places where other dogs may not care to go!  (not so sorry about that one!)  but  introducing myself  in a first blog post..yikes..now that’s DAUNTING!    

However, my human, Vikki, said now that I am turning into a fine young lady , she would like me to have this blog to share my dog thoughts, life and adventures.

Vikki can’t believe how time has flown.  It was only nano-moments ago that I was sitting on her lap.  Now I’m 15 months of Junior Rhodesian Ridgeback Girl running towards her.. 

Luckily us Rhodesian Ridgebacks take our time to mature, so I’ll be a puppy at heart for a while yet (well thats my excuse!)
